Splash Gives $2,500 to Greenwich Based Neighbor to Neighbor

It’s almost been 35 years since Splash Car Wash first opened its doors on West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, and a lot has happened since 1981. Splash now has 19 locations throughout New York and Connecticut, from its upcoming Bedford Hills, NY location to Cromwell, CT. Each Splash Car Wash offers a wide range of carwash, detail, and oil change services.

But one thing that hasn't changed since then is Splash’s commitment to local organizations and the communities it serves. Every year during the Splash Holiday Sale a percentage of every Splash Gift Certificate purchased is donated locally. These are local organizations like Neighbor to Neighbor who directly assist the people in the area who are in need.

This year Splash Car Wash is more than happy to give $2500 to Greenwich based Neighbor to Neighbor. Every dollar of this amount comes directly from Splash Greenwich and Cos Cob customers buying gift certificates from Splash!

In 1975, a group of concerned individuals began collecting gently used clothing and redistributing to those in need in our area. Christ Church provided basement space, and Neighbor to Neighbor was formed. Now, Neighbor to Neighbor offers three food programs and a clothing program. A free weekly supplement of three days’ worth of food for each member of a family is available to eligible Greenwich residents. One-time emergency food is available to residents of Stamford and Port Chester. A weekly Summer Supplement is available to eligible Greenwich students to bridge the gap left by the lack of free or reduced price meals during the summer months. Clothing, linens and small household items are available by appointment in our Clothing Room to eligible residents of Greenwich, Stamford and Port Chester.

Splash Car Wash looks forward to continue its support for the organizations in the communities it serves. Splash now supports over 400 charities and community organizations each year and has donated over $1.5 million to groups near them that help, provide, and make a difference every single day.
